The M/V Oktan, a vessel measuring 100 meters in length and 17 meters in breadth, recently entered our shipyard for an intermediate survey. This type of inspection is a key element in the vessel’s operational lifecycle, ensuring a thorough assessment of its technical condition, structural integrity, and onboard systems to guarantee continued safe and efficient operation.
As part of the scheduled scope of work, our team carried out a comprehensive range of maintenance and repair activities, including:
-
Dry-docking operations, covering the inspection of the hull, cleaning, blasting, thickness measurements, and painting in accordance with classification society requirements.
-
Hull maintenance, consisting of complete surface preparation and anti-corrosion protection, as well as the application of new coating systems to provide long-term durability and resistance to marine conditions.
-
Replacement of selected piping systems, both on deck and within technical compartments, improving the reliability and safety of the vessel’s installations.
-
Repair and maintenance of deck equipment, including mooring gear, drainage systems, and structural elements exposed to heavy service.
Thanks to the dedication and expertise of our team, all works were completed on time, in compliance with class requirements, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful completion of the M/V Oktan project once again highlights our shipyard’s ability to deliver comprehensive repair and maintenance services with precision, efficiency, and full commitment to customer satisfaction.
